One baby item that we did not get when Jake was born was a swing or better know as the "neglecto" swing by my older brother Mike. We have since been given a nice swing however, the cover was pretty gross and lets be honest, ugly. So, I decided to try my hand at making a new cover. I was inspired by two tutorials. One on making a highchair cover here and one on sewing with biased tape here.

we have the exact same swing! Except it was in pretty good condition so I didn't need to remake the cover. I would love something other than green plaid though. Lily loves the swing!
