Fluffy French Toast

Mine didn't turn out so fluffy because I didn't use Texas toast...


4 Eggs
2 cups Milk
2 tsp. Vanilla
3 cups Bisquick
4 tsp. Sugar
Cinnamon (optional)
1 Loaf Texas Toast
Crisco for frying

Beat together eggs, milk, and vanilla. Add Bisquick, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until smooth. Melt Crisco in a heavy frying pan until at least ½ inch deep. Dip toast slices in batter and deep fry until golden brown on both sides. Place on a rack or paper towels to drain. Serve with powdered sugar, syrup, fruit, etc. Enjoy!
